Meet the Hirschys

Sean is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College (Missions) and Regent University (BA in Christian Ministry, Master of Divinity). Kirsten is a graduate of Oral Roberts University (Bachelor of Music). They have been married since 1998 and have three young adult children: Gabrielle, Smith and Marissa. They are also parents to a 100lb. lapdog - Tobi - a golden/lab. retriever mix.

Sean and Kirsten got started as youth and worship pastors at Word of Life Church in their hometown of Dubuque, IA. After 13 years there, in 2007, the Lord led them to Germany as missionaries. This was a dynamic time for them, raising three young children and leading youth and worship for a young church that eventually grew from one campus to four. As the church expanded, Sean & Kirsten oversaw the youth and worship for all the campuses, and took on tech, media, web, and bookkeeping responsibilities. In 2015, they also stepped in to pastor a nearby Pentecostal church, eventually merging it into their main church as a campus.

During their time in Germany, Sean and Kirsten taught courses at Rhema Bible Training College in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Though they moved back to the 'States in 2018 to prepare their kids for college, Sean still works with Rhema in Europe, serving on the instructor development and strategic advisory teams.

The Hirschy's currently live in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Kirsten works as a staff accountant at Oral Roberts University. Sean serves as a worldwide traveling minister, trainer, and strategic advisor.

Their greatest joy is to see their children taking new steps with the Lord and to watch their former youth group members rise up to take ministry leadership in the church!
